Position: Commercial/Corporate Brokers (Short Term Insurance)

Reporting to: CEO

Econorisk are looking for entrepreneurial and self starting sales personnel to join their Sales team. This position would suit individuals who have an established network of business contacts who can develop their own portfolio of commercial clientele. In return we provide market leading resources to assist in developing portfolios aligned to our proven business model.

A highly negotiable salary package is offered together various incentives which reward achievers.

Duties will include (not an exhaustive list):

  • Writing commercial/corporate new business in line with targets
  • Develop business networks and prospects to support targets
  • Drafting of new business reports
  • Compilation of broking notes and negotiation with insurance markets
  • Collation and analysis of quotations received from the market
  • Renewal of portfolios
  • Day to day servicing of portfolios

Overview:

The candidate must have a proven track record with strong technical and sales ability in the short term insurance area. The appropriate FAIS compliancy is required as well as strong computer skills (Excel and Word).
